I'm working on a series of paintings for an exhibition with the Cobb and Co festival in Surat, August 2024. So if you are curious about how to prepare for an exhibition, would like to see the application of the fundamentals of colour taught in previous classes or would like to pick my brain on anything art join me. The plan: each session will be working on one of the images in the collage, I will explain some of the background behind the image, why it was selected and then delve into what I'm exploring through colour and mark making to bring the story to life. I also wish to offer students an opportunity to also ask some of the more gritty questions you might have burning in your mind about your art, establishing a career or other related topics. If a question arises that deserves further expansion I will do a brief presentation on it in the following session to cover it more thoroughly. If you send me images of work I will also offer a brief critique and make suggestions in areas that are important to me. Each session will be stand alone, but like anything, joining the entire series will provide the deepest understanding. Contact me if you have any further questions.
