Beechworth has many independent accommodation venues to suit different tastes and budgets. This is a selection of some of our favourites. Please click on the link to see in detail what they offer, and if possible, book directly with the owners.

Art Scape Cottage is a charming cottage set in garden surrounds, situated on the outskirts of Beechworth. Nick and Claire warmly encourage artists and musicians.

The Empire Hotel has inexpensive but stylish pub accommodation. It can be noisy on some nights due to live music, but we would rate it as very well-run, and a 'creatives-friendly' place.

Beechworth Carriage Motor Inn is located in a quiet spot a short walk from Kathy Ellem Fine Art and all town amenities, and is pet-friendly.

Beechworth Lake Sambell Caravan Park on Lake Sambell and Spring Creek, is within a moderate walking distance of Kathy Ellem Fine Art. It's also pet-friendly.

A little way out-of-town

Serena Cottages are located in a private garden setting on a rural property in the Woolshed Valley, only minutes from Beechworth. The atmosphere is one of traditional country-comfort and hospitality.

Yellow Cottage is a cute miner's cottage which has been decorated with artistic flare, located in Eldorado, 20 minutes from Beechworth. It is run by the creative couple, artist Bianca Vera Rubega and Don Stewart, who also run the Eldorado Garlic and Chilli Company on site.
